Patrouille de ski du Mont-Orignal

Mont-Orignal’s ski patrol

Our priority: safety and assistance on the skiing slopes!

Determined to carry out its role in ensuring prevention and providing first aid assistance, the patrol is a member of the Canadian Ski Patrol organization. Skiers and snowboarders can count on this volunteer team to make sure the slopes are safe for everyone and to provide any assistance when necessary.

Don’t hesitate to ask for help from the patrol volunteers, they are always available, no matter the emergency level.

They will be glad to discuss with you or share an anecdote. Maybe they will inspire you to join the patrol, who knows?

Why become a patrol volunteer?

  • Be part of a friendly team of passionate people

  • Develop skills in providing first aid, which can be useful in any situation

  • Find satisfaction in giving back to others

  • Be the first to hit the slopes in the morning

  • Avoid line-ups—only for patrol volunteers on duty!

  • Ski all the time (a season pass is provided to all volunteers)

  • Enjoy the after-ski events!

  • Must be 18 years of age and over

  • Must be an intermediate-level (or more) skier or snowboarder

  • Must succeed the first aid and CPR training

  • Must be available on weekdays and/or weekends during the ski season

  • Have great teamwork skills and, most of all, a keen interest to work with the public (patrol volunteers don’t just assist clients, they are a valuable source of information and anecdotes about the mountain).

We are looking forward to welcome you in our outstanding team!
